Gotcha !!

This Blackbird has been waking us every morning with his beautiful song,and every evening we get a repeat performance "Magic"...Its taken me a fortnight to get this picture,hope you like it..

We intend to have an American breakfast sometime over the holiday,so any special pancake recipes or hints and tips on your cuisine will be very welcome...And I promise to post a shot of the breakfast so you can all have a laugh at my efforts.

Oh...I have to smile and smile at this one. I have tried for three days to get a picture of a red cardinal that awakes me each morning. EARLY...4:30 AM. I think I have over 150 shots of her but I always seem to get a twig, branch or something in the way. Just this morning I found myself hiding in the bushes like a crazy person trying to get the shot. Of course...I did not.

This picture is one to be proud of. The color is amazing. I think she posed for you on this one.

This shot shows how good the Image stabilization is on your camera.1/30 sec at 500mm and not a wiggle.Great stuff !!

@Anthony Lambert: Cant fault that side of it,low light shots without a flash are not so good though..But i'll live with that,overall she's a cracker. :>)

@Mellofello: I heard him performing in the front garden grabbed my camera same as a dozen times before,opened the front door very gently and he was sitting on the fence about four paces away and he didn't move !! Magic Moment !!. :>))

@Lesley: Thank you Lesley,It most certainly is rosemary,and this Morning i'll be baking Onion and Rosemary flat breads to go with Saturday nights pasta (Alun and family are coming down this weekend)and wine. ;>))
