Not as cold as some of our Am3 friends, but it's cold for us softies...I'll leave you to guess what your looking at.

We intend to have an American breakfast sometime over the holiday,so any special pancake recipes or hints and tips on your cuisine will be very welcome...And I promise to post a shot of the breakfast so you can all have a laugh at my efforts.

grouser from Ludlow, United Kingdom

Nice still life Jeff.
Glad to hear things are going to plan. One of the things I find irritating about having a waistband that's bigger than my hips is that it's so difficult to keep your trousers up.

8 Jan 2009 11:27am

@grouser: I used to have that difficulty in my late teens..But that had nothing to do with an enlarged waistband. ;>)))

Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United States

They are cool ice seats to cool your butt down when it is to hot... hehehe

Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United States

Did you remove those from bird baths?

Stephanie from Toronto, Canada

Brrr indeed! I think that squirrel statue is wondering what is up with the weather! Nice shot.

8 Jan 2009 9:24pm

@Stephanie: Thank you Stephanie,I think Squiggle is worrying about his nuts. ;>))

San G. from Encino, California, United States

I vote with Judy ... these look like bird baths to me. I'm glad the birds weren't in there at the time! This is a great shot, and a geat guessing game. Thanks for the fun!

8 Jan 2009 11:32pm

@San G.: Spot on Sandy...There were a couple of Penguins in there,but I chased them off. :>))

The other day I realised our dog was thirsty because she was trying to get water from the bird bath. Nothing but heat here at the moment

17 Jan 2009 10:46am

@lisa v: If I give you my address, could you put some of that heat in a box and send it over,I could make a fortune selling it down the market. :>))
