Les from Lincoln, United States

I love to see this sort of thing. We saw hundreds of bikers on the freeway in Texas (near Dallas) a couple of years ago right around Christmas. Same sort of charity run.
My husband rides (I simply cling to him for dear life!) and he's not such a bad guy. :)

14 Dec 2008 5:48pm

@Les: I dont like cars,I much prefer bikes, but my old joints make getting on and off impossible these days,we have been toying with the idea of a trike though..Some old friends of ours were on the ride yesterday,so maybe theres hope for us yet. :>)

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, Canada

What a wonderful thing to do. I can imagine the roar of the bikes and this time bringing good cheer and gifts. Thanks for sharing this Jeff. Gives one a warm and fuzzy feeling.

We see similar rides here in Florida; the last we saw was in support of a young serviceman who lost his life in Iraq. Bikers showed up from all over the state ... hundreds of the.
This is a good shot, Jeff, and a fine reminder!

Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United States

They just had their 'toys for tots' ride here and it isn't the 'normal joe schmos' (for the want of a better word) bikers in the parade but those burly bikers too riding together for toys for the kids..
