High and Dry.

Running repairs to one of the fishing fleet.

We intend to have an American breakfast sometime over the holiday,so any special pancake recipes or hints and tips on your cuisine will be very welcome...And I promise to post a shot of the breakfast so you can all have a laugh at my efforts.

Amazing how they do these repairs. I guess when the tide comes in its all down to the pub for a pint!! can't do any repairs under water!

A great image Jeff. I love the man approaching the ladder. Tell me, is it a trick of the view, or are the water levels really different? The image is so provocative, I wonder what the expression "High and Dry" really means (out of the water and ready to repair?).

@San G.: Its the beach level thats different,not the water level..High and dry does mean a vessel thats been beached...Thank you for your comments,and your interest Sandy. ;>)
