Ullapool Harbour,on Loch Broom in the Highlands of Scotland.
We intend to have an American breakfast sometime over the holiday,so any special pancake recipes or hints and tips on your cuisine will be very welcome...And I promise to post a shot of the breakfast so you can all have a laugh at my efforts.

@Judy: At one time Ullapool was the centre of the Herring industry,Russian factory ships filled the Loch,and the trawlers brought there catches directly to them..I dont think it was quite so idyllic then.

Those look to be large fishing craft! I'm surprised this loch would support the fish population to support such craft. Good image, by the way Jeff - well done.

@Stephen Phillips: The Loch opens out into the Minches,and then into the North Atlantic..Nowdays they mainly fish for Prawn, Crab,and Clams,but it was not always like this,<see my reply to Judy>.
