If you put your ear up close to the computer monitor and you listen really carefully,you can just about hear the gondolier singing, "Just one Corneto,give it to me,delicious ice cream,of Italy" !!

Is it Birmingham Jeff? They boast of having more canals than Venice though the architecture doesn't look quite right or the canal barges come to that. Hmmmm.

@grouser: Sorry to disappoint you mate. It's not Brummichum,but if my memory serves me right ,you have got a Villa or something there,and the Floozie in the Jacuzzi would fit in quite well ;>)

Ahhh, Venice, has it not been swallowed by the sea yet??? I was there about 23 years ago and we were told (it was a school trip) that it was rapidly sinking and would not be here when we grew up!!!! Great shot jeff:-)

@Judy: The view is from the Rialto bridge (6 oct) If you ever get the chance ,don't hesitate,and make sure you've got your camera.
