Anthony Morgan Lambert from Bielefeld, Germany

Did you forget to put out the bird food ?? Any burnt bits of the cake to try :-P

@Anthony Morgan Lambert: No but Mr Blackbird prefers natures bounty..."Burnt bits" dont you dare say that in your Mams hearing i'll have to wait till Christmas same as always.

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, Canada

Your little blackbird is a beautiful little guy. They are prettier then our crows. Love that tree.

@Marion: The hen Blackbird is an insignificant brown bird but she must still be beautiful in his eyes.

MrsAmber from West Wickham, United Kingdom

Nicely framed ..a great shot..the coloured tree is still looking good too for this time of year!

@MrsAmber: Not for much longer Mrs A, most of it's on the ground now...Mores the pity.

Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United States

You're smelling Christmas cake baking and over here we're smelling the early aromas of the big bird in the oven (a Tom Turkey). :D
This next weekend we'll begin to see the Christmas decorations appearing everywhere.

26 Nov 2009 1:52pm

@Judy: There should be a law against putting up decorations too early,I get fed up with them by Christmas..But then i'm a grumpy old man. ;>)

Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United States

Beautifully framed, Jeff. Perfect autumn colors, too.
